i almost named this post “good thing they’re cute” but that seemed a little harsh. but this adorable little booger threw such an enormous tantrum this morning that i needed an adorable baby picture to erase the memory of it! note: just in case anyone thinks that replacing pink tights with orange leggings is a reasonable idea, i assure you, it is NOT a reasonable idea for this three year old. duly noted.

i would like to take this leap year opportunity to say a very special see ya later to february, the shortest yet seemingly longest month of the entire year. i am glad it’s over. or before i get ahead of myself, i will be glad when it’s over at 12:01 tonight. really, february was pretty brutal. a half dozen trips to the doctor, one too many house maintenance crises, an unusually gray and cold month in a normally blue sky town… you get the point. we’re really, really looking forward to march around here. we’re looking forward to longer days, warmer temperatures, a visit from nanny, and hopefully no trips to the doctor. and april looks even better, with a trip to the desert and a visit from papa bubba, mimi, and nana. bring on the spring, already… but for now ciao, february!
